Summary
Super Resolution uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, protect sign-in, remember small preferences, apply the fairness limits of the free daily credits, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
What we use cookies for
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores for a website and sends back with later requests. We use cookies for signing in and security, small preferences, the free daily credits, and analytics. The sections below say what each group does.
Cookies for sign-in, security and preferences
- Signing in and security: a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 7 days, renewed as you keep using the site, and a few related cookies protect sign-in and email verification. Blocking them signs you out.
- Preferences: small preferences, such as the site language you last viewed and whether the account sidebar is open.
Reward cookies
Two cookies support the free daily credits and the invitation program, so the fairness limits can be applied. Neither is used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
_reward_didis a random identifier for this browser, signed by our server. It is used only to apply the fairness limits, for example to stop one browser from collecting the free daily credits on many accounts. It lasts 1 year.reward_referralbelongs to the invitation program, which is currently switched off, so the site does not set it at present. If invitations are switched on, it remembers which invitation link brought you here. It lasts 30 days.
_reward_did does not calculate a browser fingerprint from hardware or browser characteristics: it is a random value our server issues and signs. Separately, when you create an account we keep a one-way keyed hash of some browser details, never the raw values, as the Privacy Policy explains. Clearing _reward_did gives the browser a new random value, but does not erase account-based or network-based reward limits. The Privacy Policy says what is kept and for how long.
Services that may set their own cookies
Cloudflare Turnstile runs a bot check on sign-up, password reset and sign-in after repeated failed attempts. Stripe hosts the payment page you reach from pricing. Google handles the sign-in screen if you choose Google sign-in. We also use analytics tools to understand how the site is used. These services may set cookies in your browser and receive data about your visit, under their own policies, and we do not control them.
Browser storage
An image you select before signing in can be kept in your own browser for up to 30 minutes, so you do not lose it while you sign in. It is not uploaded until you choose to start an upscale.
Your choices
You control cookies through your browser settings. You can clear cookies and site data for superresolution.pro at any time, or block cookies. Clearing the sign-in cookie signs you out, and blocking all cookies stops features that depend on them, starting with staying signed in.
Changes to this policy
When the cookies the site uses change, we update this page and change the date.
